Nagel’s 9,000 sq. ft. R & D department is equipped with dedicated Honing, Superfinishing and Deep Hole Drilling machines and a state of the art Metrology lab consisting of Surface Analyzers, Stereo Microscopes, Cylindricity Gages, CMM, Hardness Checkers , etc.

New machine concepts, automation and tooling are continuously developed and implemented. This strong commitment to Research and Development has established Nagel as a leader in the industry.

With our sophisticated measuring equipment and dedicated machines for R & D, we have the capability to provide development and application support to our customers, including prototyping and limited low volume production services.
